Barker & Barker Business Optimization
A SDVOSB Company

Why Lean Six Sigma?
Lean Six Sigma improvements create more value with less work, reduce the process cycle time, reduce errors, and reduce variation in the process. The goal is to optimize the end-to-end process. Typical time frame from problem identification to solution implementation is 4-6 months.

Why Kaizen?
Kaizen Events provide significant, clear, and quick improvements to a localized part of an end-to-end process. The execution is dramatic and the results are seen immediately after the event. Typical time frame from problem identification to solution implementation is 1-2 months.

Why Barker & Barker?

What is Lean Six Sigma?
Lean Six Sigma is a business improvement methodology which combines (as the name implies) tools from both Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. Lean focuses on increasing speed and traditional Six Sigma focuses on improving quality. By combining the two, the result is better quality faster. This results in improved operational efficiencies in existing processes, new processes developed with high operational efficiencies, and increased profits.
